Hell, no!!

The big news. By cutting 2020 prize money by 30%,I have managed to send off £150 from you quizzers to NHS Charities, peanuts of course compared to Captain Tom. Thanks to those who suggested the thought- thanks to those who were not so sure but kept quiet.

Clear already there will be no quiz results in May. No snooker in prospect, no cup final for a while, or Champion’s League. Never a 2020 Ice Hockey Champion. Are we pulling up stumps on 2020 sport? – Hell,no!!!

Just because the Olympics are in 2021, and there never will be a 2020 Wimbledon or Open Golf winner. – Hell, no!!

Not while the French are considering an August Tour, not while that astonishing President is prodding his golfers back on course (he loves social distancing so he can kick his ball in the rough) perhaps he will persuade baseball to have some kind of season, perhaps the Oz will play a bit of AFL in the outback, watched by wallabies. Who knows about tennis in November or a Six Nations finish?

Here are some quiz questions on May’s missing events. Those who send in correct answers will score points towards a tie break total for never fear, there will be a quiz winner in 2020. Google can be Your Phone a Friend.
