11)What Quiz update? Surely there is no Bundesliga question. The Women’s Super League winner has been decided in a committee room this week. Chelsea are the winners with 2.6 points per completed game.
Quiz HQ fired up the abacus and has decided to award the points to any quizzer who suggested a ONE or TWO point margin of victory. If you feel aggrieved, think how Liverpool feel, relegated with more than a third of the season to go.
Where else should we look for quiz points? The Cup Final(Q12)has been penciled in for August 1st. There will surely be a Prem leader on Nov 30(Q44) The F1 season is finally getting into gear, tee hee (Q43) A delayed Tour de France is still being discussed (Q 19-20) as is the Ryder Cup (Q36-37) though behind closed doors. No word yet on the AFL(Q38) or baseball (Q40) seasons -surely Australia has managed its pandemic policy better than Britain or the USA.
TRANSFERS Quiz HQ is planning to transfer the Wimbledon questions to the US Open tennis,if it goes ahead. The British Open Golf Q21 will become a second question on the Masters ,planned for November. Points for Q34 will go the winner of any 2020 cricket competition open to all 18 counties. Surely someone will televise a major snooker(Q10)or darts tournament(Q35)with a similar field to those planned
