PRIZE DAY

Prize Day

1st ROB FILBY (£210)

2nd KETAL PATEL(£105)

3rd EMMA NEWALL(£70)

Delighted that three long term quizzers have finally landed the spoils.

Some people may recognize Emma under her old alias, Snedden. Yes, my daughter and I am very proud of her sporting acumen. I tried hard to disqualify her, looking for spelling mistakes or smudged ambiguous numbers. No, she paid the entrance fee so she gets the prize.

Never mind the cash.

What about the glory of beating your family, your neighbours, your workmates?

What about being the champion of Wales, of Scotland, of the world outside Brexit Britain?

What about the best quiz debutant? Read on to find these heroes /heroines?

  1. Congratulations John on your improvisation skills which allowed you to keep the quiz going this year despite the attentions of Covid-19. Let’s hope 2021 will be less harrowing for you.
