1)the RL Grand Final seems always an either/or question.
2023 was Wigan’s turn
2)Bob Brewer reports on the World Cup Final,
retained by South Africa.
3)The baseball World Series is still ongoing and Neil Dewhurst will report next time
but our question is already decided -both finalists come from West of the Miss.
Well done to the two quizzers Malcolm Exworth and Freya Morgan who got all three right.
Many though failed to score including David and Jon(and me)
which brings pleasure only to lazy minions, idling by their abacus.
The race has got much closer with only three predictions left.
Even more important, the third column tie break score now means something
after the Rugby World Cup. If you’re 63rd ,you really are.
Here, the lower your number, the better.
Well done to Kay Davies and Nicola Rains for getting 362 points spot on.
Condolences to the friends and relatives of quizzers Brenda Woolf and Sheila Southwood,
both long time generous supporters of the Quiz.
Both will be much missed by many.
